Getting the fit right

Even at a small quantity, it pays to get the size right first time. So measure your product at its widest and tallest points, not the box you imagine. Also tell us if it needs an insert. That way, the box holds it snugly from the very first unit. Because the run is already small, a sample is well worth the extra few days. So you confirm the fit before your 100 units are printed. It is worth setting expectations here too. A 100-unit order will always cost more per box than a 5,000-unit order. That is because setup costs get spread across fewer units. So do not expect small-batch pricing to match bulk pricing. You are paying for lower risk and more freedom, not the cheapest unit price. Once your volume grows, we can move you onto better pricing at higher quantities.

A note on quality and recycling

We use food-grade board and inks wherever a box touches food, and our stock meets standard packaging rules, no matter the order size. Most boxes are paper and card, so they recycle easily when clean. A laminate or foil finish looks great, but it does make recycling a little harder. So we will always tell you that trade-off honestly, whatever quantity you are ordering.
