A whole pizza box does not work for one slice. It is too big. So the slice slides around, and the cheese ends up on the lid. That is why pizza slice boxes exist. They are sized for a single piece, not a whole pie. So the slice stays put, and the box still looks neat in someone’s hand. We make custom pizza slice boxes for pizzerias, food trucks, ghost kitchens and grab-and-go counters, as part of our wider range of custom made food packaging boxes. A single slice pizza box gets used all day during a lunch rush. So it has to fold fast, hold grease, and cost very little per unit. We build all of that in. Plus, we print your logo on it. So every slice that walks out the door is a small ad for your shop.

Product Description

Why a dedicated slice box makes more sense

A regular pizza box is built for a full pie. So the shape is wrong for one slice, and the piece tips over inside it. Also, folding a full box just for one slice wastes card and money. That is why individual pizza slice boxes exist. They match the shape of a triangle piece, so nothing wobbles and nothing goes to waste. Plus, they close all the way, which keeps the slice warm on a short walk or a delivery ride. Some shops call this a pizza slice container instead of a box, but it does the same job.

Why shops choose us for slice boxes

  • Sized to fit one slice, so nothing slides or tips over.
  • Closes fully, so heat stays in and toppings stay put.
  • Printed in full colour, so your name goes out with every order.
  • Food-safe board, so grease and cheese do not soak through.
  • Available in bulk, so pizza boxes wholesale pricing keeps costs down.
  • Quick to fold, so staff can move fast during a rush.

Who uses these boxes

Pizzerias and slice shops

If you sell by the slice, this is the box you need most. It travels well, and it looks tidy at the counter. So staff can fold one and move to the next order without slowing down.

Food trucks and street vendors

Space is tight in a truck. So a box that stacks flat and folds fast really helps. These boxes do both. Plus, they hold their shape even when a customer eats standing up, which matters a lot at a festival or a game.

Grab-and-go, cafés and convenience stores

More stores now sell pizza by the slice next to sandwiches and salads. So the box needs to look clean on a shelf and travel well in a bag. Our individual pizza slice boxes do both, hot from an oven or cold from a case.

Caterers and events

For parties, a stack of matching slice boxes looks organised. So caterers use them for casual events where guests serve themselves.

Sizes and material

Here is a quick guide to sizing. Slice width depends on your pizza size and how many cuts you make, so send us both and we will match the box.

Size Fits Good for Note
Small 6–7 in slice Thin crust, personal pies Low-volume counters
Standard 7–9 in slice Most pizzerias Our most popular size
Deep-dish 8–9 in, extra height Deep dish, stuffed crust Taller lid, no squashing
Multi-slice 2–3 slices Sharing, family orders Wider tray inside

The board matters too. Here is how the main options compare.

Board What it does Best for
Kraft corrugated Sturdy, resists grease Most pizzerias and trucks
White paperboard Bright, bold print Colourful branding
Recycled kraft Eco-friendly, still strong Green-focused shops

Kraft corrugated is the safe default for most shops. But if bright colour is central to your brand, white board holds print better.

Getting the fit right

One thing worth knowing: measure the slice at its widest point, not the whole pie. An 18 inch pizza cut into 8 slices is wider per slice than the same pizza cut into 12. So tell us both numbers. Also mention your crust style, because deep dish needs more height than thin crust. That way, the lid closes properly and does not squash the toppings. If you are not sure, order a sample first. So you can check the fit before placing a big pizza boxes wholesale order.

Food safety and recycling

We use food-safe board and low-migration inks, so nothing transfers into your food. Our stock also meets standard food-packaging rules. Because most of these boxes are corrugated or kraft, they recycle easily when clean. But if a box gets too greasy, it usually cannot go in recycling, so composting is the better option. We would rather tell you that plainly than oversell a claim that does not hold up.

Frequently Asked Questions

A regular box holds a whole pie, so it is large and square. A slice box is smaller and shaped for one triangle piece. So there is less wasted card, and the slice does not slide around. That is the whole point of a single slice pizza box: a better fit, less waste, and a tidier look for one portion.
Yes. We print full colour, or match your exact brand colour for free. So your name travels with every slice. That is useful, because a slice box often ends up outside your shop in someone’s hand, which works as free advertising.
Yes. Pricing drops as the order size grows, so wholesale suits busy pizzerias, chains and caterers well. Minimums stay low too, so smaller shops can order without overcommitting. So whether you need a few hundred or a few thousand, we can quote it.
It depends on your pizza size and how you cut it. So tell us the diameter and the number of slices per pie, and we will match the box to that. If your menu includes more than one crust style, you might need two sizes. So we can help you pick a combination that covers the whole menu.
Yes. We use food-grade board and inks made for direct food contact. The board is also chosen to resist grease, so it does not go soft or leak on the way home. So the slice arrives looking the way it left the oven.
